Each year on this day, Americans combine vanilla or strawberry ice cream, strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Make several strawberry sundaes, and enjoy this delicious treat with friends and family.While the oldest known record of an ice cream sundae is an Ithaca, NY advertisement, the originator of the dessert is cooly debated. The October 5, 1892 ad in the Ithaca Daily Journal spelled the ice cream treat with the conventional day of the week spelling – Sunday. Let’s enjoy this ice frame with cool and happy weather .

Each year on July 7th, pasta lovers across the nation dig into one of their favorite noodles on National Macaroni Day.Made with durum wheat, macaroni is a large variety of dry pasta, which typically does not contain eggs. While many people think the shape gives macaroni its name, the kind of dough used to make the noodles gives it the name. The noodle is formed into shells, spirals, straight and many other shapes, too. And in the U.S., we like our macaroni! In fact, elbow macaroni is the most common form found in the United States. in many different dishes from casseroles and hot dishes to soups and salads .These convenient noodles serve as a base for cheese dishes as well as meat dishes, too.

It’s National Dive Bar Day!From the one-time speakeasy to the little hole-in-the-wall, the dive bar is like an old pair of jeans; it just fits right. During the week, we can stop in, our team will be playing on the TV, and the beverages will be icy cold. The same dart and pool leagues meet every year, and familiar faces go head to head.Dive bars last. On Friday nights, even their sweethearts still show up for date nights at the beach shack where they met 20 years ago.
