NATIONAL HIV/AIDS AND AGING AWARENESS DAY

National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day on September 18th highlights the number of people living longer with HIV/AIDS.

Of the 1.2 million people living with HIV infection in the U.S., an estimated 24 percent are age 55 or over. Another focus of the campaign includes those diagnosed after the age of 50.
